Our Instructors
Sne Allan-Sharma (née Ganguly)
Sne has been a long-standing practitioner & considers herself an eternal student of yoga. Despite starting her yoga journey almost 15 years ago in Provence, France, it was only in December 2024 that she finally decided to resign from her life as a corporate lawyer to connect with her roots & to lead the community focused studio & instruction practice that is Intārya.
With formal coaching in Ashtanga Vinyasa & Vinyasa Flow from her gurus at Rishikesh Vinyasa Yoga School & Bali Yoga Ashram in Indonesia, Sne has developed a specialization in Ashtanga Vinyasa which follows the Mysore-style of teaching. Her instruction encourages meditation through movement & focuses on body alignment & philosophy of yoga, as it has been known for generations. This is & will always be the foundation of her practice & teaching; yoga with pure origins in tradition.
Emerson Shiang
Emerson has been teaching yoga since 2015 & received his training from the yoga center of the world, Rishikesh, India. He has taught various forms of yoga, but his favorite is a combination of Hatha & Meditation. He teaches the way he practices, which is simply to watch change in sensation & cognition. Whatever your level of practice, you are welcome to join & experience a change in your body & mind.
Vanessa Lyons
Vanessa Lyons, RYT-500, M.Ed, is a teacher, outdoorswoman, an athlete & a team member. Her mindful movement yoga flow is demonstrated in a sustainable way & has been influenced by her practice of nearly 30 years. Her teaching style is influenced by her ashtanga roots with Larry Shultz, Founder of It’s Yoga & Rocket Yoga & her teacher Lesley Desaulniers, with whom she gained more than 500 hours of Jiva Mukti inspired credentialed teaching. Her current teachings reflect the wisdom of her teachers & a joyful alignment based vinyasa practice. When Vanessa is not teaching yoga, she is in the garden or otherwise enjoying time outside with friends & family.
