Our Story

A candles and a flower display on a table, with a potted plant in the background. The candles are lit, including a large cream-colored pillar and a smaller tealight with a decorative holder. There is a peach-colored flower and a small decorative object on the table. A framed sign reads 'Intārya Yoga'.

With an intention set to plant seeds for a “Blue Zone” in the heart of Mill Valley, Intārya started out as a casual yoga class between neighbors in the living room of a hillside home.

Ever since that moment, three simple ingredients have contributed to Intārya’s success; mindful movement, nourishment & connection.

Intārya is now the only yoga center in Mill Valley to offer classes daily, followed by nourishing, plant-based foods in a natural environment with a community focus.

With roots in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Intārya offers classes ranging from traditional Ashtanga coaching to Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative & Pre-natal practices.

The focus of each session is to help you leave feeling energized, nourished & connected.

We offer solid training in the foundations of yoga if you’re a beginner. We can also empower you with the opportunity to challenge yourself, if you are an advanced or professional practitioner.

What matters most here at Intārya is You; namely- your journey of meditation through movement & your path to wellness.
